Industrial Fire Team Training

At times, Fire Extinguishers are simply not enough and dedicated control measures are required to protect your assets and personnel. This is where Emergency Management Services can assist with Fire Team Training. Course Content

The Fire Teams course is specifically tailored to the needs, equipment and capability of the individual client.

Each new client undergoes an assessment and evaluation of its current risk and control measures prior to developing a training program which is then rolled out to the participants. Each section of the training program is tailored to the client’s risk and control measures, along with the ability of the participants. Equipment used on this course will vary, depending on the equipment available on the client site for fire services, post training.

Course Duration

The duration of this course will depend on the risks, control measures, the needs of the client and the desired outcome of the course.


Delivery mode

Training is delivered face to face including both theory and practical components with a strong emphasis on the practical application of skills. The course involves practical fire fighting drills and scenarios that may be conducted onsite or at a training venue, as required.


Award and Recognition

Successful participants will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance listing the curriculum that was delivered and the duration of the training.


Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this course.


Additional Requirements

All participants will be required to supply the minimum Personal Protective Equipment including structural fire fighting ensemble, helmet, safety glasses, fire fighting gloves, long sleeved overalls and sturdy work boots with reinforced toes.
